Science based rangeland discussion in North Dakota

New Format

We are in the 13th year of the Range Forum.  Moving forward we will retain the principles that we started with in 2004.  This is a neutral place to discuss range management.  It is also a way to exchange information and connect with peers.  The employment, current research and issues pages are ways that we can interact as a range management community.

Upcoming Events

Our first Range Forum for 2017 will be presented on March 22nd by Dr. Lance Vermeire. Dr. Vermeire is a Range Ecologist at the Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory, Miles City, MT.  The topic is "The Effects of Fire and Grazing in the Northern Mixed Grass Prairie" at the Forest Service office in Bismarck from 12:00 – 1:00 CT.  We will have  VTC so other FS offices (Lemmon, SD, Dickinson, Watford City and Lisbon, ND) will be able to see the presentation. If you are close to the remote locations, please feel free to participate at those Forest Services offices.
